The Beginning of the Well Ministry

Feb 2023. The beginning of the well ministry. Our first attempt at a well was at Pastor Michael’s church (Blog Post 1). Contractor said there was no chance of hitting water due to a faulty survey. An alternate location was chosen by Pastor Isaac Rwakatale in Seeta Village (Well #1). This site was partially chosen because the surrounding area had 850 families who did not have access to clean water. But now due to having a well at this location, about 300 families per day come to the site for their daily water needs. This has turned into a great evangelistic tool at the location and almost immediately following the opening of the well to the public, there were 21 salvations that occurred. The church also was able to expand into a building program and to minister to the needs in the area. We had an official well dedication, opening with prayer on our trip to Uganda in June 2024.
